Struggling With Anxiety!

What is Anxiety? Anxiety can have a variety of effects on people from disrupting the quality of day to day life to developing serious long term health concerns. Early intervention is important upon recognizing symptoms of anxiety.


POTENTIAL SYMPTOMS

There are a variety of behaviors and symptoms depending on the type of anxiety, the stage of the anxiety, and the influence of genetics, environment, age, and presence of other mental health challenges.

  • Restlessness or feeling on edge
  • Being easily fatigued
  • Difficulty concentrating on tasks or mind going blank
  • Irritability
  • Muscle tension
  • Sleep disturbance (difficulty falling or staying asleep, or restless unsatisfying sleep)

Taking the first step is the hardest part. Reaching out for help is the first step to receiving services and support to help you or someone you know get on the road to recovery.
