Amazing Grace Food Pantry

Recipients “shop” once a month at Amazing Grace Food Pantry and receive 3 days worth of nutritious meals. Shoppers can meet with our Outreach Worker(s) to see if they qualify for other social services/benefits.Guests can save money by using the food pantry, creating budget options where they do not have to choose food over paying utilities or rent.

Mobile Food pantry Truck- is another opportunity for you and your family to receive nourishing food the second Thursday of the month. Head to the Cross Street AME Zion Church, www.crossstreetamezion.org 440 West St., Middletown, from 10 a.m. to 11am. You need not be a Middletown resident to receive food.

Our guests are men, women, and children who live in poverty, are unemployed, underemployed, with addictions and mental illness. People with strained budgets who often have to choose between paying utility bills, rent or mortgage, & buying food, are able to get three days of groceries from the pantry and apply their money to other bills. (Income focus area). When our shelves are low, we ask for food drives and support from the community. Our staff directs shoppers to other social services.
